Daily Five: We read Turk and Runt. We practiced making inferences. We learned some new vocabulary words and liked playing Four in a Row. We also learned about adverbs.

Math: We started a new unit about measurement. We measured with teacher sized feet and giant feet.

Social Studies: We are learning about Holidays Around the World.  We’ve travelled to Australia, G’day Mate! We also went to France, Bonjour!

Humphrey News: Read Chapter 8 for next week, don’t forget to check out the Fairfield Reads You Tube Channel.

Daily Five: We read Stellaluna. We practiced retelling the story. We learned about strong verbs, they are better describing verbs and help paint a picture in our minds. BATS…eeeeekkkkk!

Math: We practiced making jumps on a number line.  We also took the Unit 2 Assessment. We talked about pairs and made twins for a chart about pairs.

Science: We finished our weather tools.  We made a poster to describe our tools and are working on a video to show our tools.

We are walking in the Fun Walk later this morning, we're going to run like cheetahs.
